Kara Artman - Art Director
Our Art Director, Kara Artman has been with the FSS since we started talking about a dedicated studio for artists with disabilities. She is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She started working with people with disabilities on Hilton Head several years ago. She quickly realized the untapped skills, talents, and enthusiasm of our community revealed unparalleled joy in creation. We are very fortunate to have her and her talents at FSS!
Kalen Wolfe - Studio Manager
Kalen joined the FSS as Studio Manager in August of 2025. She brings a significant amount of instructional experience having worked in the Beaufort County School District as well as Montessori settings for several years. Kalen completed her undergraduate studies at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and a graduate degree in at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Her professional experience is an excellent addition to the FSS community and we are excited to have her!
