Andrea is Victoria's mom, and yes, also mom to Alex and Addy making the Full Spectrum Studio the dream project of which she never dreamt! Andrea has a BA in art studio from the University of South Carolina, worked for the USG in the Intelligence community for over 30 years, and has served on various philanthropic boards over the last 30 years. She and her husband, and Victoria relocated to the Lowcountry in 2017 to be closer to her parents who have been in the area since 1976.
Mother to Cat, Judy was raised in Washington DC and has lived in New Mexico, Florida, Maryland and now the Lowcountry where she relocated over 20 yeas ago. Judy finished college with a degree in English which is why she is able to make words 'sing.'
Her skill as an editor, creative director, and meticulous planner were key to her success in positions of increasing responsibility in the development world of higher education where she spent the bulk of her career. Her experiences with major institutions of higher education well prepared her for a follow on career owning and operating a Sears store - which she did single handedly as her partner quit midstream. Her impressive skill with textiles evolved over years. She can upholster a couch with the same degree of confidence as she can make a wedding dress. Her attention to detail is a loving tribute to her dad, who was also a skilled craftsman. She often repeats words she attributes to her dad, and which keep us all striving for perfection “Good enough, is neither.”
Alex is brother to one of our founding artists, Victoria, and is excited to help share her art with the world through Full Spectrum Studio. While possessing almost zero artistic talent himself, Alex does have experience defining and growing a range of commercial and operations activities for a young business, most recently at AutoGrid, a software company focused on enabling a more intelligent electric grid. Before joining AutoGrid, he served as an officer in the US Navy SEAL teams and subsequently earned an MBA and MS from Stanford University. He also holds a BSE in Civil Engineering from Duke University. Alex lives in Seattle with his wife, their two boys, and an ever-growing collection of FSS ceramics.
Janet brings to the FSS board her years of expertise as an accomplished multimedia artist, Her vast network in the local arts community and business acumen in the arts community. She has watched the FSS from its infancy, welcomed our artists, and readily accepted our request to join the board.

He says his mission is to enhance the quality and consistency of transaction monitoring and management, as well as to align assets and strategies to create a sustainable competitive advantage for his clients.
WE know him as Carson's dad and are fortunate to leverage his financial expertise in support of FSS's sustainability.
Addy is the younger sister to Victoria, one of the FSS founding artists. She is an accomplished real estate photographer and graphic designer. Addy studied graphic arts at Northern Virginia Community College, but really began as a photographer when her mother put a camera in her hands well before she turned 10. Addy has been key to the success of the FSS website and is the designer of the FSS logo - making her instrumental in our branding. Victoria says she can’t remember a time when Addy wasn’t creating something in her room.
